If you are looking for a realtor that truly understands your needs and puts you first look no further because Marisol does an amazing job. Marisol was recommended to me via family friend that knew we were just putting our feelers out but weren’t familiar with the area. Upon messaging with Marisol, she always encouraged us to make time to meet in person. I was always used to transactional people so I didn’t really understand the need for meeting in person. Once me and my fiancé finally met her in person it all made sense.
Marisol asked us questions about what we were looking for but she went further than that she had us paint the picture of what the “perfect” home for us looked like. What were some of the must haves. We then went on to discuss what the right number for us looked like and then she discussed the process. It wasn’t just we look for homes, we offer and then we close. No! Marisol went through every step of what we were to expect and educated us so we went in knowledgeable and with the right expectations. We had never had an experience like that and we felt very comfortable moving forward with her as our agent because we knew that she had our best interest at hand.
Over the next few weeks, she would send up different properties and explain where they are located and based off our initial conversation what boxes it checked off. She educated us about the different areas of Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Clayton and Concord. I knew close to nothing at the beginning of this process and now I can tell you all about them! She was always readily available if we ever had any questions, wanted to see a property or just felt overwhelmed. She turned this process into something enjoyable for the both of us.
After looking at several properties we found the one for us! It’s crazy when you aren’t really looking but working with someone great you just feel it in your gut when it’s right and it was so right for us. Now that we found the right property we thought give them what they want and let’s close. Marisol knew we were excited but educated us the importance of inspections, negotiation, market comparison etc. So we put a very competitive offer and after all said and done it didn’t work out the first time because we knew what we wanted to offer and Marisol reassured us that if it’s not meant something else will come our way.
A month later the same property came available and she knew we just loved it. Marisol spoke with us and came up with an offer that both sides would be happy with but that allowed us to be comfortable with. We stood our ground and boom WE GOT THE HOUSE!!! We were thrilled not only about getting the house but about feeling good about the offer, the process, who we were working with. We felt secure and knew that she did everything in our best interest so we didn’t need to double think anything.
